About

Welcome, I’m Tamara Schmidt
I’m glad you’re here.
I’m a nature connection guide, herbal therapist, and creative educator. I offer 1:1 coaching for women who are ready to come back to themselves.
My work is for sensitive, thoughtful women who’ve spent years being capable, responsible, and “fine”… while quietly feeling depleted, scattered, or disconnected from their own inner voice. Together, we build the steadiness, clarity, and self-trust that makes real change possible without turning your life into a self-improvement project.
Nature informs my approach, but it’s never a requirement. Sometimes our work happens outdoors. Sometimes it happens on a couch, with a cup of tea and a single honest breath.
Coaching: practical, warm, and real
Coaching with me supports you when you’re:
- navigating a life transition or identity shift
- rebuilding self-trust after years of overgiving
- learning boundaries that don’t feel like punishment
- untangling overwhelm, self-doubt, or that “I should be doing better” pressure
- wanting a life that feels more like yours
We focus on what’s true, what’s sustainable, and what actually changes things: nervous-system steadiness, clear decision-making, and the kind of support that helps you stay connected to yourself.
If you’ve ever felt relied on but not truly valued—in love, family, or work—you’re not alone. That dynamic can scramble your inner compass. Part of this work is learning to trust what you know again.
If you’ve been valued for what you do more than who you are, and you’re done carrying love alone, you’re in the right place.
You deserve support that doesn’t require self-abandonment.
Nature connection is the thread that runs through everything
My roots are in forest therapy, experiential herbalism, and everyday encounters with the living world, including city nature: sky, trees, weather, weeds pushing through sidewalks, houseplants, gardens, and small moments of noticing.
For many people, nature contact makes it easier to settle, listen inward, and come back to what matters. Not as a magical fix, but as a steady support.
Photography and goods: beauty you can live with
My Etsy shop, Atelier Fleurbain, grew out of my own daily practice of noticing. The images you’ll find here, from flowers blooming to pollinators at work, and from late afternoon light to small seasonal details are not just “pretty pictures.”
They’re reminders of interconnection.
A pause you can hang on your wall.
A moment of beauty you can return to.
A small invitation to begin again.

Digital guides: simple tools for real life
I also create Pocket Guides and nature therapy resources with guided audio, action-based invitations, and reflective prompts designed for real schedules and real lives. Many practices are 5–15 minutes, and they can be done outdoors or indoors.
Some people start with a guide and later choose coaching. Some begin with coaching and use guides as ongoing support. You’re welcome either way.
Rooted in Care, Growing with Purpose
For me, this work doesn’t stop at the edge of the garden or forest path. I believe in giving back to what sustains us.
That’s why I donate 2% of profits to causes that align with my values:
Pollinator Partnership Canada – supporting the bees, butterflies, and native plants that keep our ecosystems alive
SPCA Montérégie – a no-kill shelter in Ste-Angèle-de-Monnoir, Quebec, caring for animals in need
I also tend my own garden, participate in local community projects, and advocate for pollinator-friendly practices in my region.
Let’s Stay Connected
Whether you’re here for coaching, a digital guide, a print for your home, or simply a breath of beauty, I want to thank you for stopping by.
If you’d like support right now, you can:

Whether you join me for a guided nature practice, explore herbal insights, or bring a bit of wild beauty into your home, I’m so glad our paths have crossed.
Warmly,
Tamara 🌿

Want to work together?
Two ways to begin:

A note on my approach.
I believe that strong relationships with the more-than-human-world create a ripple effect benefiting people, communities, and the places that hold us.
Nature informs my work because it helps many of us settle, listen inward, and reconnect with what matters. But nature isn’t a requirement here. We can work with a window, a houseplant, a memory of a place you love, or simply your own breath and attention.

First time here?
What You Will Find Here
Coaching
Warm, practical 1:1 support for women moving through change, especially those rebuilding self-trust after years of overgiving, people-pleasing, or living on adrenaline. We work on steadiness, boundaries, clarity, and the real-life choices that help your life expand again.
Experiential Herbalism
Experiential herbalism is grounded in first-hand relationship with plants and trees. It’s where book knowledge meets lived experience: observation, seasonal attention, and learning what a plant feels like in the body and in daily life. This approach supports wiser, more confident choices in everyday herbalism.
Nature Connection Guides
Digital Pocket Guides and resources that deliver guided audio, action-based invitations, and reflective prompts designed for real schedules and real lives. Many practices take 5–15 minutes and can be done outdoors or indoors, with whatever “nature” is near you.
Goods and Gifts
Nature photography prints, cards, and goods that carry a sense of presence and beauty into ordinary life, small reminders to pause, notice, and begin again.
Let’s Stay Connected on This Path
If my work resonates with you, you may enjoy weekly-ish nature-rooted insights to help you stay grounded, protect your energy, and reconnect with your inner steadiness.
A truth I return to…
What does it look like to be the best, most actualized, authentic version of yourself?
I ask myself this often, and in the presence of the living world, I become more relaxed, open, and expansive. From that place, it’s easier to see who I am and what’s possible.
Regular contact with the living world helps you remember, accept, and love yourself more deeply.
You matter in your life and beyond.
